Always remember life is without a problem, never without difficulty, never without hurtful moments, but never without God to lean on.

Interview?? More like a chit-chat session
So, here it goes. A newly established company that consists of the President, Vice-Chairperson, and 2 office workers. The product their promoting: Star Blade, a foam boomerang. It costs $15 for a simple, foam toy. Can you believe it?? But it seems to me that this toy would be the next craze in town.
How did the "chit-chat" session went?? By the way, the interviewer was Cheryl too. She's tall, tanned, quite pretty, was from Chung Cheng High (main) and VJC. Anybody wanna get to know her?? All I did was sat there and listened to her explain how we should go about promoting the toy, how to catch the children and parents' attention, learn to be patient.... She told us about her experience at Kids Central Fest which was held last month. She got hit by a claw-like boomerang by a kid behind her, but she still gave a smile to the kid. Well, accidents do happen. Basically, I'm looking forward to doing this job because I'll interacting with kids!! Another thing to to happy about is that, I only have to work when there's an assignment. Reason being, they are scouting for locations to set up booths in order to promote the product. That means, not everyday there's work for me to do. Oh, the company is still looking for sales promoter. Anybody interested??
Worst thing is that.... My friend who told me about the interview didn't tell me that Linette was joining the force to sell the product too. Goodness.... She's got a *beeping* attitude problem!! Although she's my Mum's friend's daughter and was also my ex-classmate, but why of all people??!! She's hard to please, thinks she's always right, gets pissed of easily.... Loads more of negatives to name. But oh well, love is always the key to better friendships and relationships. I'm crossing my fingers that she won't offend any customers while we're working together.

Pass it on
Woke up on new year's eve feeling abit sore at the throat. I thought to myself:"Darn! The virus is passing on in the family." First was parents, then sister, and then brother. And now ME! Anyway, didn't do much in the afternoon besides watching "Annie, The Little Orphan".
The night was spent at Loyang with a bunch of people from church. It was totally a different new year's eve, compared to the last 2 years. We used to attend CBC's watch night service for a while, and then will head of to Greg's place for food and games. There wasn't Taboo or Pictionary for us to play and to laugh at what's drawn but doesn't look like what it is. I still remembered Shawn's unicorn. But then again, we got really really bored and came up with stupid games like the LAME GAME, ANOTHER GAME.... Goodness... We had our countdown.. YEAH!! All of us were like little children playing with sparklers and all. Then, we went into a smoked house.. Haha... And then, the hypeness just died down after that. At around 2am, I felt myself running a temperature and so I decided to get some sleep. Sleep was good... Temperature actually went down. Thank God! Everyone was like semi-awake and we went to BK for breakfast. Went back to clear up after breakfast and then headed home. Upon reaching home, took Panadol and then went to sleep again. Ain't I a pig?
Gonna go for a job interview tomorrow with my friends. She says be prepared to start work tomorrow. Friend says that it's a selling toys job. Was wondering if I could like pep talk parents to buy whatever I'm selling... Haha..
Stay tune for my first day at work.

Proud of 2003's ExeCom
Year 2003's ExeCom and ministry leaders were elected. It was really great to see Prissie took the step of faith (as she puts it) to take up the role of YES' President. And yes, it's really about time. Well, hope we'll work together to bring YES into another fantastic 2003!
As for Clara and Adele, I'm really encouraged by the both of them who are ready to serve, despite having their O levels in 2003. Nothing is impossible when you place God before any other things.
2003's committee has a mixture of the 20+ and the -teens. To make everyone feel home at Powerhouse+, is what i think it's the most important. I'm glad to see that those low-profile people (Dawn, Faith, Sharon Yeo, Narelle, etc..) answering God's calling. Especially Daryl, heading Missions and Worship ministry. Keep it there brother!
In Your Hands
I'm so secure
You're here with me
You stay the same
Your love remains
Here in my heart
So close, I believe
You're holding me now
In Your hands, I belong
You'll never let me go
This song really spoke to me at Powerhouse+ last worship for 2002. I remembered what Doc John said about feeling insecure, but God is always there for me to feel secure. And how each and everyone of us are not 100% perfect, He is perfecting us everyday in our lives. I'm beginning to change, but it's a slow process. Time is needed to hit perfection. Allow time for things or even people to change.
2002 is coming to an end. 2003, a new beginning....
