Always remember life is without a problem, never without difficulty, never without hurtful moments, but never without God to lean on.

Half-Dead
Sheesh... Was out the whole day from 0700 to 2100 at Orchard, helping to distribute and collect tins for LKYC's flag day. Hundreds of students came and the whole situation then was CHAOTIC! Insturctions were given to queue up and wait for their tins, however, the students crowded the whole area and it was quite frustrating. They "happily" took their tins and threw coins in it. 3hours later, they returned, and for what you know, the 3-hour flag day could be compared to a 3-minute flag day. The tins were like EMPTY... Gosh... Wonder where they brought themselves to do collection... For those (including me) out there who did flag selling before, I'm sure you know yourself that you took the tins and went jalan-jalan after that, right? But still, we returned with somethings in it. The major difference between the students of XXX schools and colleges were, the college students returned with heavy tins, which was GOOD! SCGS girls were even better. They took 2nd tins for collection. WOW!
Town. The place to see people. But there wasn't many funky, cool, "weird" people to look at. Saw many many familiar faces though, and that's what I like about staying out of the house. Sometimes I wish to see somebody whom I would like to meet, but the outcome would be seing other faces. It's okie.. It'll happen someday..
Just realised that, Mina and I have different perspective of looking at things. Had a MSN conversation with her about a dance item we would like to put up in Feburary at school. Firstly, she says she might not be able to do it because she has a full-time job at a day care centre. Next, she told me that her friend adviced her not to do the performance in school, but it's better to guide the students to do it. She's afraid that, the school would treat us as free labourers and perform for them, and the only thing the students would be doing is to watch us perform. I told her that, we could negotiate for a little pay or at least get a token of appreciation from the school in order for us to perform. Then she tells me about school's budget being lowered, how stingy the school is, blah blah blaah. Put it this way, it's either Mina only listens to advises, or she doesn't think about what impact it would give people after performing. If not for Overflow 2002, I would not have any ideas/plans to help raise funds for YF. I'm sure some people at school would be inspired to do something similar, or just something after watching a good performance. Frankly speaking, I did wanted to do the dance which was done at showcase of camp at school. And I didn't expect Mina to ask whether I would like to dance for a school's performance, as I didn't bring up what I thought to her. But now I suppose that, it's likely to be pointless to do it if she thinks it that way. We'll see whether if what we planned to do will still go on.

Energised...sort of
At last... The chance to play badminton with Justina had come. Just the two of us. For an hour, we served, we smacked, chit-chat while playing, picked shuttlecocks... Multi-tasking, yeah... Went for lunch at Tampines Mall's food court. It was lunch hour, but we managed to get seats. We got to hear each other's past experience on how our friends around us teased, saboed, and made fun of us. And yep, we both thought that it's embarassing to be made fun of.
It amazes me that, how Justina was able to find friends in the new class she was in last year. Knowing her for just one year in school as a friend, I found her to be a responsible class chairman, dedicated St John Sergeant, loyal friend, and most of all a cheerful girl. Hey Just, I'm glad to have you as a friend. There are things I know about you, and you know things about me. One incident that happened was, Justina had the courage to admit that she was the class chairman and a Sergeant in St John's in front of Mr Quah, as he was angry with the class for not turning up the last session of Yoga. Oh, the O level Chinese results were released on the day of the last Yoga session. Nobody actually quite had the mood to attend the session.
I saw you being truthful
I saw how you weren't afraid of
being stripped off your ranking
I saw you kept your cool
I saw You, Justina
Oh, but maybe because we knew that Mr Quah was in bad mood, so we didn't show any faces or even made any noise. Thinking back about what happened, I would like to know whether if any of those who were suppose to attend the Yoga sessions felt guilty?
Dear Justina, you'll always be my bestest badminton buddy. And we are the May babies... Smilez..

Afternoon in an office
Lazing in bed is what i do most of the time, in the mornings. Today, at 11+, got a message from Tina, asking me if I would like to help do some typing at LKYC. I agreed and got out of bed. Left the house at around 1230 and arrived there at 1345.
Sat down at the table and received instructions from Tina on how to do the attendance sheets. Type, sort into alphabetical order, number then save. Exciting thing was that, I got to type St Anthony's Canossian Sec Sch's name list. And YEAH!!! 5/1 was the BEST!! Their names were already in order, and makes it so easy to do the list. I was typing and typing, was also trying to find out who were the 3 who didn't make it to Sec 5 after their N level last year. Thinking and looking, looking and thinking, and noticed someone's name was missing. It was Sharon Lim Ying Ying's. Her name was not in neither 5/1's list nor 5/2's list. Was shocked not to see her name, because she took her N level the second time in 2002. In 2001, she didn't make it with the rest to Sec 5 last year, which was kind of...(I don't know how to say). Didn't expect history to repeat itself. Was hoping that she would work hard, so she could end her secondary education (after 6 years). But I just hope that, no matter where is she, she'll be alright. On second thoughts, she might have cleared her N levels, and moved on to ITE to continue studying. Who knows??
It really makes me laugh, whenever I think about Audrey and some others called Sharon Lim Kopi, and I'll call Lim Kopi back at her. In turn she'll say back to me: "Eh! I'm don't Lim Kopi, You then Lim Kopi. I Lim Water..." For 4 years, she was standing behind me. I think we both used to squabble over some tiny stuff - plain silly. I remembered she was so timid, and I had to lend her alot of help. She's panicky too!! She'll panic when something goes wrong, and she would ask people this and that. Quite irritating at times...
Sharon Lim Ying Ying, you'll be remembered.
