Always remember life is without a problem, never without difficulty, never without hurtful moments, but never without God to lean on.

Can't I be free?
Was at family's CG last night and i had red wine. It was suppose to be Mum's drink, but she told me that I could have it, and so i drank it and didn't refill anymore. I wasn't tipsy or whatsoever. Guess Mum didn't know I could drink until that night. She said:" You can only drink with us (parents) around during festive seasons. You better don't learn how to drink, ok?" Whatever! Do you think i'll care? Still can't understand why she has to be strict with me. She doesn't mind me staying out late, as long as I get home safe. Do i hang out with bad company? Am I a bad girl? NO! I'm not! I can be notorious, but compared to some people from my former class, I'm considered a "saint". A little secret for everyone: I had a taste of beer when i was 15. Actually, I didn't know it was beer, because my friend said that we'll share a drink. But my friend finished up everything, nothing much left for me to drink.
Hey, that was only the drinking part. There's more thatn just that. My neighbour came up this afternoon to give red packets, and also had a short chatting session with my Mum. They talked, while I was watching TV. The auntie talked about her son piercing his ear and about another neighbour who called the auntie and panicked about her own son's piercing. Gosh! Why parents nowadays are so worried about what their children will become? The auntie said that his son was very close to a friend they knew since primary school and thought that they might be homosexuals. That was very funny. But obviously I didn't laugh. Anyway, my Dad said that after piercing ear, it will be moving on to piercing navel, tongue... Whatever! Mum then said:" If she (me) wants to pierce more than 1, I won't allow her to". Oh come on! Why does she have to do that? Even Wendy has got her ears pierced, but I don't think she'll pierce anymore. Unless she's ready for the pain again. Argh!!! Mum's just worried that the piercing would get infectious and stuff like that. Now do you people understand why I have yet to get my ears pierced? Firstly, I would prefer a couple of holes to just one. Secondly, I would be asked to stop at one hole if Mum finds out that i pierced. Thirdly, Mum's afraid that i'll be addicted to piercing and that i'll have piercings at my navel or tongue.
*SCREAMS* I want to do what I want! Can I have some space of my own?! Am I going to be controlled in what I do?! Someone please free me!!!

Rainy New Year's Eve
4 friends and I had a "date" to go back to school to visit teachers on the eve of CNY. Unfortunately, we were caught in heavy traffic due to "Rush Hour". By the time we got to school, the CNY celebration was over. But we still had the chance to talk to some teachers. And I got my first red packet from teacher. *smiles* We got bad news, saying that my former form teacher was absent from school. hmm... Is that an example set by a discipline teacher? *joking* Anyway, both Chinese teachers said that CNY celebration was different without Mina and I. Was told that there was technical problem during the celebration, and I joked that it happened because I wasn't there. haha!! I think I or we (those involved in CNY shows) had done a great job. Never did i expect what was done to be appreciated by people at school. Know what? I was asked when will I be back to put up a performance. Guess i'll give it a go if there's opportunity and people to do the performance with. Met up with Sr Jo next at the convent behind the school. She was (as usual) smilely and witty. Oh, and I got a light "slap" on my face from her, for no reason! I seriously have no idea for what or why she did that! Talked about the subjects the present Sec3s and Sec5s are taking. The Sec5s aren't taking Commercial Studies. That makes my batch the last to take that subject. Reason for not letting them take it? They think 7 subjects are too much for them to handle, so kept it at 6. Oh well... The Sec3s Express do not take accounts. Why? They do not like it and don't think they will need it, so they got it scrapped off. Wow! Seems that Sr Jo has an easy job this year. *giggles*
Family Reunion
Similar to every other year, hot steamboat for reunion with family. The children (excluding me) had their own little "boat" this year. Watched CNY countdown programme on TV. Stayed up late till 2am.
Conclusion: Wonderful reunion with family, friends and teachers.
On the first day
It rained from night till morning, but the sky sort of cleared at early afternoon. Neighbours and relatives came for visitation. Guess what? The house was overflowing with children! Anyway, there weren't any nice shows on TV, so i kept myself occupied by snacking on new year goodies. Late afternoon, parents decided to go GrandUncle's house for visitation, so we went out. Did nothing at the house except.. right. Eat! Moved on to Mum's auntie's place. Guess what?! Yep, wating again. Oh man! It was only the first day, and I've been eating alot! I don't remember eating so much for the past CNYs...
On the way back home, daddy reminded me of something which made me laugh to tears. 2 years back, we were at Chinatown. I saw this man who I find was familiar, whom I thought was an actor. He was looking at me too. But less than a second then I realised... He was actually the chicken rice seller at the coffeeshop behind my house. Went to tell my parents about who I thought he was, they laughed out loud. Maybe he was just too good-looking to be a hawker. haha!!
Little cousin was too irresistable to play with. He's so adorable and cute. His actions just make me want to laugh. Baby talked wiht him and asked him to complete the last word of some songs. It's really wonderful to have a little kid in the family. They really perk up the whole atmosphere and make every adult smile and feel happy.
