Always remember life is without a problem, never without difficulty, never without hurtful moments, but never without God to lean on.

Festive's Over
At last, CNY's finally over!! The eating and drinking has ended. This new year i really ate ALOT! There's nothing much to do without school, only feeding yourself with goodies and all. Had the close of CNY with a final round of steamboat feast with family CG. I was bloated!! A total of 4 steamboat dinners this year. It's record-breaking!!
Went for job training this afternoon. It's was pretty okie.. The trainer said that we were not enthusiatic enough for the job. But I guess it takes time for us to get use to a new job. Anyway, there was this trainee who really got me pissed! Throughout the training she was a total bitch! Couldn't stand the way she talked to the trainers. Guess she was trying to please the supervisors there. Oh man... And the reason why she want to work is because, she needed money to pay her phone bills. Also, during a "practical" she was distracted by a guy who walked pass, and thus got scolded by the trainer. Serve her right.. By the way, the people who are in the job don't really look that pleasant or friendly. Or i should say, only a few. And oh, the company is still trying to work things out for my weekends. So, pray for me, k??
Gotta go! Jaime and Jillian are here tonight to sleep over. So, good night! :-)

Valentine's Day
Hey people, sorry for not updating for quite some time. But since it's Valentine's day, and I'm glad I've got a job (FINALLY), my as well blog about it.
Went to town in the afternoon for job interview with my friend. Upon stepping out of the lift at the 16th floor, i saw a big office right before my eyes. I was totally stunned! Friend and I hesitated to go enquire about the job the advertise in the papers. The receptionist said that they wanted people 18 and above for the interview, but came this Caucasian guy who said:"Never try, never know.", coz we absolutely no idea what we were interviewing for. During the interview, we found out that our job was to do marketing. Basically, the job is to approach families or couples along Orchard Road, tell them about the company, give them a free gift and invite them to the office. The company deals with holidays, by the way. Oh, and i told the interviewer that i can't work on Saturdays and Sundays, so he said he'll work something out for me for weekends. He asked what's my religion, and so i replied Christian. Then question:"Charismatic?" I answered:" Uh, no. Presbyterian." Best thing is, I get paid every two weeks. So I need not worry that i run out of cash. Hehe.. And guess i'll give a treat if my first pay looks good.. Haha... That concludes, I'm employed! Gotta go back to the office again for further knowledge of what's the whole job like. By the way, the big bosses are all Caucasians....
Anyway, during lunch, I showed my friend the message Doc John sent out regarding CG at night. "Be there if you are dateless tonight." Actually, this is the first Valentine's spent outside school . I remembered how it was when we were in school on this special day, exchanging presents with one another, giving each other friendly hugs. I miss those days... Especially the Valentine's 2 years ago, when Prissie, Andrea and I were single. The 3 of us met down town to watch Miss Congeniality. Those were the times we got to hung out together because Andrea had not started school then. Will there be another time for us to hang out and be silly selves while taking photo stickers?
Those were the days....
