The wait is over
Results were released. The percentage of 5 subject passes was about 65, and so many of my classmates were feeling afraid after knowing it. I was as usual calm and relaxed, telling others not to worry. One by one we went to receive our result slip. Then came my turn after the second top girl, Wendy. Took a deep breathe to keep myself prepared for any bad news, but no! I’ve got good news! First thing my teacher told me was my grade for English. And guess what?! I’ve got a B for English, which I thought I could have gotten a C. Wow!! I was kind of speechless about that and the only thing that was on my mind was thinking about Mass Comm. Next was my Maths grade, which happens to be a C. Thought I could at least get a B, but I’m still happy that I passed Maths. Haha!! Surprisingly that I passed Science too… Hehe.. My best of the best was Commercial Studies which I got an A!! Felt so happy about it!! Seriously, I thought I would get most probably a pass for accounts, but eventually I’ve got a B. Sr Jo was asking me how come my accounts I only got a B, and I told her I hardly pass accounts. And she asked how come now it’s a B, and I shrugged my shoulders saying I don’t know. Haha!! Overall I’m satisfied with my results. Anyway, my form teacher was kind of surprised by my results too. Hehe... Thank God for them. I was so happy that I cried, but the tears were tears of happiness and all the hard work I did was paid off.
Called up mother, auntie, and some others to tell them about my results. They were all happy for me. Called up my supervisor too, and he asked if I was going back to work. I asked him can I not go to work, and he kindly agreed coz I told him that Mum said not to work. Haha!!
To All who took their results: You've all put in your effort into studying and now enjoy the fruits of your labour. Cheers everyone!!

Happy person
Today, 2 of my collegues and i team up together to pitch people to give away Disney on Ice tickets. The target from supervisor to us was, two from each of us. Got two bookings and 2 Qs. So happy.. Actually both the Qs i got was with assistance from my supervisor.. I'm actually under another another supervisor, but today team up with 2 others to meet our targets. My 2nd and last Q was the one which made us hit our target! YEH! Supervisor was happy, we were happy too. But, the 2nd Q was on work employment pass. And they need to be at least working in Singapore for at least 6 months.My supervisor had reminded the man to tell the receptionist up at the company that, he has been working for a year. Stupid him went to tell the receptionist 5 months he worked in Singapore. I stood there and got stunned. Went down to meet the rest of my collegues, and my supervisor asked if everything went ok? I told him that he said 5 months, and he gave me the "go bang wall" look. He then cursed that man, which made me speechless. It was a perfect Q! But he ruined everything himself.
Before work, a guy collegue brought some of us to a building near Forum. And there was a jamming studio there and a guitar workshop there. The shop sells 2nd hand guitars. The jamming studio's drum set was sucky. Terence was good at the e-guitar. He's got a number of guitars at home.
Word of the day: Cute
Reason? For the whole day, my supervisor kept saying that i'm cute. And he said that to both the couples we pitched. See, so cute ah?! (pinching my cheeks) It's not only once! He pat my head and said i'm cute. I laughed, and he said i'm cute. And he told us that, he actually wanted Danielle and me in his team. But another supervisor needed people in his team, so he didn't have us in his team. He said he likes cute things on his shelf. Look at this conversation:
Him: You want to earn $50 an hour after office hours?
Me: Huh? Where? Do what?
Him: Come my house and sit outside my door. Then when i walk pass say:"Hi Naresh!"
Me: ..... Funny!! Haha!! Then i no need go home?
Him: Secretly sneak off when i sleep lah.
Me: And what time will that be?
Him: 4am
Anyway, the cute word didn't end with him. Daphne Tan said i was so cute in one of her messages to me, and, she thinks i'm cuter now than before. Oh! Give me a break.
Oh, and he sent a message to wish me good luck for my results.
Results day=Dooms day?
The day we've not been waiting for... Ta-da! It's here! A big group of my collegues will be taking results too. So, tomorrow there's so many not turning up for work. I may or may not go work and it all depends on my mood. Haha!! Hope all things goes well tomorrow for everyone. Hang in there for another 15hours before getting reults. I'm gonna prepare tissue for everyone, and let's pass the tissue....

Broke my record of zero
Woosh... Finally my record of zero has been broken. The latest record is One. haha... Anyway, the company is giving away free tickets to Disney on Ice till 4th March. Wearing the T-shirt of Disney on Ice, i was trying to look for couples with children to give them the free ticket offer. But then again, they must be qualified for the free tickets and also the 7-day and night accomodation. It was kind of tough to find for people at first, coz the main catch is the free ticket. Singles are entitled to one ticket + accomodation, Couples will get a pair. However, if the couple wants 1 more extra, my SPIFF would be $20 less. And for a family of 5 wants the tickets, i would lose my $60 SPIFF. Overall what the company wants is, for us, the OPCs to earn money and not lose money. So my supervisor was saying that we are not there to be Santa Claus to give away tickets which also mean money. Haha... Oh, i managed to get day off on Sunday. Yeah! And i think my Saturdays i need to work just for maybe 2hrs. Coz actually my team is off on that day. Guess working schedule is fine already...
I really do not know what happened to me today. After not working for two days, felt kind of lethargic and restless. Was kind of picky with the people i wanted to approach. About 45mins after 3pm, one of the collegue asked one more person to station at Lucky Plaza. There weren't many people, especially couples with children. Free tickets to Disney on Ice, who won't want it? It's hard to give away tickets to adult couples. I mean, they are adults. Would they want to watch Disney on Ice? But they still can get the shopping voucher. Hmm... Lady luck was on my side today. A couple with a cute daughter caught my eye, and so i took the chance to do the survey on them. Thank goodness there was a collegue who has experienced was around to help me explain things to them. My supervisor was also around, and just less than 10mins i got my Q. Wahaha!! So happy!! Brought them to office, filled in form and everything was perfect! And the little girl got a Minnie Mouse top from the receptionist. They were entertained by the Sales Consultant and so i left and returned to Lucky Plaza. And after that, I didn't feel like asking anymore people. Got myself a Slurpee and took a break (long break). hehe.... Another supervisor said to me that, i looked relaxed after sending one UP and he didn't like it so told me to get more. The fact was that, nobody looked potential to be a Q. Also, a number of my other collegues didn't get any Q today. So to say, my team was quite in a bad shape today. We were told to try to hit the target my supervisor has set, but we didn't. It's alright! Most probably because, it's the first day of the week and not many people are out yet.
Results
A collegue received a message saying that, radio broadcasted that results would be out on Wednesday. I've kind of made up my mind that, i would return back to work if i'm happy with my results. But if results are bad, i'll stay away from work, coz i don't think i'll have the mood to work. Let's hope that everything turns out fine and i'll be alright. *Crosses fingers*
