Rejections
Frustrated. Pissed. Angry. These feelings were all there at work. All rejected the survey. I'm serious over here! None would just stop for you. I tried and tried, but still nobody stopped. After the first hour of work, i was already steaming on top of my head. Just couldn't believe that i wasn't able to stop anybody. Was totally f***ed up with everyone around me. There wasn't room for me to scream or shout, and so i had to blare it out at my collegues. So sorry that they had to suffer. A collegue of mine asked me, how come i am so hot-tempered today? Didn't crap much today at work. The Cheryl today, was different a different Cheryl compared to any other days. I could talk to noone and be focused on my work. That's how cool i became, because of people who rejected and do not know what good gifts they've missed out. Once again, for the third day in a row, i got "insulted".
Me: Hi Sir! Are you Singaporean? It's just a survey.
Man: What kind of survey?
Me: It's just a holiday survey.
Man: I think it's bullshit.
I would say, he's a freaking bastard. I don't mind polite rejections, but hello... What a rude way of rejecting, ya?! Scram! You moron!
Naresh's team performed way below expectations today. 5 members were at work, but they got only 2 ups. he was down, upset, sad... Coz it was his bad day ever. Never did he had so little ups in a day. Sabrina got a slight asthma attack, Leon was told to go back, coz he didn't look like he was charged up for work, coz he drank too much the night before.
The day was about to end. However, i did manage to stop a couple for the survey. Haha!! Felt so happy to be able to get them to stop. Wahaha! Everything was so darn perfect, besides the girl was a year younger than the age criteria. They could have gone up for the exhibition, and in turn i would get my extras. But no, they had a dinner appointment to see to. Sheesh.... Waited for so hours before i could actually have one up. It's always the case where, the pitch gets almost sent up, but then they could not go due to reasons. ARGH!! Some would promise you that, they'll return for the exhibition and help you to earn the extras. But majority won't come back.
There's only one thing i would want to say tonight. And that is: Singaporeans are ugly. They do not bother about people's feelings. They only think about themselves. I dare to say that, I'm not proud to be a singaporean. Hereby i'll apologize to those who love their country so much.
Gonna charge up and be full of zest tomorrow.

Can't people be a little bit nice?
Sucks is the word to describe today's work. Not a single kind soul would want to stop and do the survey for me. I'm beginning to feel confident and would want to go up and approach, but nobody stops! Sickening people... Some would kindly tell you that they have no time for the survey, so be it. Some just act as though they are dumb. Why can't say that they would not want to be surveyed? I got "insulted" with stupid answers. It happened yesterday and today. How could a chinese woman say that they're malaysians in perfect english, then after that the husband says that they're Thais? Super idiots, you know?! And today, i went to ask a malay couple are they singaporeans?He gave his answer:"We are Germans. Hahaha!!!" It wasn't funny at all. How evil could singaporeans get? Some earn big money, but why can't they help us earn a little bit for ourselves. We need to eat too, just like them. Would they be able to survive without working? Hello... We too need money for survival...
Collegues around me got at least an up. People stopped to help them with the survey. A was being a bit sacarstic to my collegues at work. Because i didn't manage to get any ups, i felt that i needed to vent out the anger within me. I gave sacarstic thank yous to those who rejected the survey. Complained to my collegue that, it's not that i do not want to approach, but no one stops for me when i approach. Supervisors want me to get one up, but the problem is that, how to get ups when no one wants to stop for you?! I could tell you that, i did not even got 5 surveys done today. I could really turn bonkers soon if this kind of things happen everyday. I told my collegue that,i'd quit until i get finish my basic. But that is if i do not get any ups during the week. Why people can get more money into their pocket, but i can't? Anyway, basic pay wasn't given for the Disney promotion. Guess my pay would also be little. Aiyaya...
Could see that, Naresh was feeling down today. Coz his team (excluding me) didn't do that well. One of his member nearly got into trouble with a lady whom she appraoched. Heard that the lady kept sprouting dirty language at his member, and some of the collegues went to scold her back. A call was made to the police, but not sure who called and what happened after that? I do not know. The job is easy, but it's difficult to convince the "clients". Geez...

Angry + Bad Day
Went to office to listen to what's the new gift that would be given to anybody who goes up for the exhibition. Got to see the numbers for yesterday's ups. Was damn angry to find out that my up was not qualified. Idiots.... They left after 5mins. What the.... My earnings also gone. Shucks... How could that happen?! Made me got excited and happy for nothing. It's such a disappointment. Anyway, the new gift that's given out is a privilege card, that entitles a person to discounts at shops around the world. So wonderful isn't it? How i wish i could also own that card.... Dream on.... Crowd was bad today at Orchard. Didn't do that many surveys. Sheesh... And that also meant no ups for the day. Getting prepared to get sack. Quite fun at work today too. Got to crap with a collegue in Naresh's team, Lee Chian. She's a malaysian, very hilarious and humourous person. Actually was her team's off day today, but she came to work to get the 1x6 $100 extra. She did get an up, but that up did not have his credit card with him. Lee Chian said she'll miss me when i'm not around. She's another one who says that i'm cute, and i could get along very well with her.
Mum got a call from TP while i was in the shower. Got an interview on Saturday at 12noon for Communications and Media Management. And i suppose i'll be going back to work after that. Gonna lead a short devotion at mission training, then would be going off early to attend stupid interview. Why can't they make the interview on a weekday or something? Of all days, Saturday and it has to clash with mission training. I asked Mum how to go for interview when i have mission training, and she said the interview's more important than church thing. ARGH!! Because i'm going poly and so i've got to go for the interview, and it's no point waiting for NP's notice about the written test and interview for Mass Comm. Sometimes it makes me wonder, whether my parents place studies or God first?
Daryl called to say that, the training for sound crew is going to start soon. A pro is coming in to train. Haha... I wanna be the first GIRL in YF to know how to mix the sound. Wahaha!! Hmm... Oh man, my Saturdays are gonna be packed! I don't think i'll be able to go back to work if the training ends at 6pm. No point going back to work for an hour plus then go back home. Perhaps i really have to quit the job.
Got to know a few little extra "secrets" about Naresh. Haha! Never expect that i would know just with a click of the mouse button. Was bored last night, and so i went to check if he has and ICQ account. Presto! He had 2 accounts, and both his nick was Shaun. Found out when is his birthday too, which was coincidently the same as my cousin's. Messaged and asked how come he nicknamed himself Shaun. He told me the whole story behind it, saying that it's his christian name and was given to him by a close pastor. He thinks that he's not meant to convert yet. But then his sister's church's friends call him Shaun and he doesn't tell it to anyone. But i found out. Haha.. And so he told me that i've know something extra about him, and asked if i'm going to call him Shaun? Haha!! Should i or should i not?

Will i get sack?
It's a brand new week. And to start it off, everyone of us in the OPC team has a target of 6 to hit by end of the week. If not, we'll be fired. No joke! They are really gonna fire people. What's more, today's the last day to give away the free Disney on Ice and tomorrow we'll be starting something new. During the first hour of work, i've got my first and only couple with a little kid up the exhibition. It was my very first time getting an up within the first hour of work. Then after that, slacked alot and by 430pm, we were told that the line was close (meaning full). We waited and waited for very long. At about 5+, we were told that line was open, and so we started to scout for people. A collegue of mine went to the rest room, and when she came back, she told me that she had receive a call, saying that the line was closed again. Alamak! It's Monday and the line had been close twice. Actually it's not quite our problem either, because many of the bookings were made by the telemarketing department. Also, there weren't many sales consultant in the office today. So, me and 4 other collegues went to Wisma's food court to rest. We laughed, joked, crapped so much. And one of them was hoping that the line would be close until we finish work. And guess what? We had to stop work early because there wasn't any sales consultant available anymore. Wow! Everyone gathered at the meeting place at 745pm. It was the earliest we ended work. Haha...
Target to hit is 6. Down 1 and 5 more to go. Can it be done? 5 days more to get one each day in order to get the $100 bonus for consistency. No more Disney, no more easy pitching. Oh no... Worries for whatever's new. What will happen if i really get sack? Or some collegues of mine gets sack? They were serious about sacking people. Can't imagine what will happen if it really happens. I would work hard if i want to, but i can also be a slacker among my collegues. We shall wait and see whta happens tomorrow.
Not a bad day indeed. Met some familiar faces at Orchard. My ex-band senior, couple of ex-school girls, serene lim together with qiqi, joni and guess who else? Doc John.. hahaha...
