Home Sweet Home

Guys and gals, i'm back home (like finally..) Been away for 8 days to the Philippines.

Well, the trip went on fine. I had a chance to see how the urban poor lived a simple lifestyle. The children in Singapore are really fortunate compared to the poor children there. Most Singapore children have a proper home to live in, but over there, there were children who do not even have a home to live. They roam on the streets and find a sheltered place and spend the night. It was like modern technology in Singapore VS simple technology in Philippines. The houses we live in right now were built with cement and bricks, but there, their houses were built using scraps of wood they were able to find and old rusty nails they picked up. You'd be surprised to see that, the wooden houses were very stable to live in. We (the team) could have done more for the people, if we kept to our originally planned mission trip for 14 days.

There's one thing i want to say to you people out there, and that is: Be happy and thankful with whatever you have right now. You may get what you ask for, but sometimes, you should think about how others ask but not get what they've asked.

Ta ta world.. sleepyz....
