Not 26th Nov, please
I wish that day would never come.
I wish that they would not leave.
I wish that they will be around,
with me to spend my birthday.
I wish they will give me support
in what i do.
I wish, I wish....
But the thought of it, just makes me feel like crying and all. Just 12 more days, and they will be gone. Although it is not going to be forever, but it would just feel weird not having them around for Christmas and the visits they make to Grands' place. Not forgetting how my lovable, adorable, cute, naughty, little cousin, who likes to feed the turtles with stale bread, ends up throwing bread towards the turtles' butts. He's nice cousin(Me) over here, went to different places to scout for his favourite cuddly Elmo plush, but ended up buying him a Barney plush for his 2nd birthday. I just want him to be happy, and remember this eldest cousin when he's in Australia.
Food... My Uncle aka godPa and Aunt's aka godMa's cooking. Aw!! Am so so going to miss the dishes they whipped up. Sour plum paste chicken wings, the dish Aunt cooks when i'm staying over. It's so delicious!!! They would always take me out for a great dinner on my birthday. Yup, am their goddaughter, so am one of their "children", although they've got 3 kids themselves. My red packet from them during CNY, has always been more than what they give to others. Sighs... I'm like so much closer to them, than my parents. Always confide them in some things, talk to them about my problems and so on... Oh, their house has always been my "refugee camp" and now it's "bye bye" to "refugee camp". I don't know why, but i always have this feeling that, my mum or dad does not like the idea of me going to their place. Probably they think that i go tell them bad stuff about my own family or some sort. Geez...
Ay, seems like a few families from church have moved out of this sunny island to DownUnder. Hmm... If mum has the money, she will take us away from this place to DownUnder too. I really won't mind living in Aussie land, it would be a much carefree life than being stressed in Singapore. I could study what i like, and could work part-time when i'm free.
If only...
