CounterFlow 2003

List of thanksgiving items:

1) Good weather
2) Enthusiasm of the campers
3) Worship team
4) The wacky "tribe" of mine
5) Unity of the "village" during mega lunch cook-out
6) Friends i made during the camp
7) Camp committee
8) Yeshuans who stayed up late on Sunday night to do remaining preps
9) Dennis and his help

The list goes on and on.

I believe that, the camp has indeed touched the lives of PowerHouse. God used every single camper to minister to others. This would be one camp that i would never ever forget. Thanks to the committed members of my camp committee, without you guys the camp won't be possible.

There's so much to say about camp, and i don't know where to start. Guess i'll just summarise them into bits and pieces.

-Inspection of the bags of all campers -- Phones and food stuff were confiscated
-Physical challenges between "tribes" each day -- People getting injured from that
-Finding way out with blindfolds on using only ropes
-Cooking meals -- I burnt my finger on Day 1
-Ate burnt stuff we cooked
-Flags getting captured
-Solving brainteasers
-Facing the "Wall of Destiny" -- 4 from my tirbe slept out for a night
-Sleeping alone in a small space -- Freezing cold at night
-Walking barefooted most of the time
-Tambourine dance

Time just passed so fast, and the camp ended just like that. It was a pity that the older bunch of young people did not get to experience this camp. Overall, everything went perfectly well at camp.
