First Booking
Well, we had our first performance booking outside of church today. It was a really wonderful to be able to perform "Completely Free" in front of an audience whom we were strangers to. People were touched by the presentation and some even dedicated their lives to Christ. Amen to that!! I certainly believe that, this is just the beginning of what the Lord will do in the creative arts ministry in PowerHouse+ in the later years. Hmm... Praise & worship was awesome... Even though we may speak different languages, but we all worshipped the Lord with the same voice together, as His people. To all the people whom i've been through thick and thin with: You people are the best!! Don't let the fire die down, but continue to burn for the Glory of God.
Ablaze team isn't special
Yes... We are NOT special, and it shouldn't be that way. It's true that we've been on the mission trip, and we somehow behave differently when we returned. But that's not the case. The fact is that, we did experience God in many ways. Yes that we have learnt to praise God in our own ways. Jumping, shouting, lifting hands, clapping, dancing are not things that we do because we like the song or whatsoever. It's just the joy we find in worshipping and singing praises to our Mighty God. Everyweek at PowerHouse+, you can see that everytime it's mostly the mission team people who are grooving and shouting during praise and worship. We're not trying to show off what we've got, but we're trying to help others find joy in singing songs to Him. I do not know who reads my blog. But if you're one of those who felt that the mission team has been too cliquish, i apologize for that. I think also that, PowerHouse+ worship isn't a special group of people who wants to get the "limelight" for playing well in worship. Everyone is equal, and there should not be any differences among any groups of people. When we're left on our own, it will be my prayer that we can be together, as 1 united group of youths running the ministry.
Going to be dead
I have like a day or less to complete a project prototype for Tuesday submission. And i have not quite started on it. I'm doomed... I'm a last minute worker. Just hope that i can do "magic" and create something in that one day. Of course, that magic can only be done with the strength of the Lord, and my discipline to work on it. Oh... Just can't wait for school to end... I mean really ending.. So that i can do what i would like to do...
